He's Finally Here....

  • Mood: Very Happy

Yep he's here and finally home. He was born Wednesday Morning at 1:47am. Jennafer went to the hospital sunday with contractions 7 minutes apart and they sent her home because she wasn't dilating. So, we, (Jack & I), took her back tuesday night around 7pm with the contractions 4 minutes apart and they sent her home again saying that she had only dilated to 3 centimeters and her water hadn't broke sooo, back home we went. The nurse told her to take a couple of Tylenol PMs to help her body relax enough for her to dilate. She did and her contractions started coming about every 2 minutes and lasting 3 minutes each time she had one. SOO, back to the hospital we went and of course she hadn't dilated any YET, and they said they were going to watch her for another hour and if nothing happened, ( meaning if she hasn't dilated any), they were gunna send her home. AGAIN! Well she showed them...right when they said she was going to be able to leave her water broke. The Dr. came in and said, "Oh it takes at least 7 hours for the first baby to be delivered." Her water broke at 12:41am. I looked at the Dr. and said, "Nope she'll have it within the next hour or so." An she did! She went from 3 centimeters to 8 to delivering within an hour. Jackie Wayne Jr. was born at 1:47...well, actually it was 1:44 but it seems no one looked at the clock but me when he squirted out, and I do mean SQUIRTED! Fluid went everywhere. I ducked and it hit Jack in the chest...lol I am really proud of both of them, (Jennafer & Jack), he kept her calmed down and kept her from pushing when she wasn't supposed to, and she did great at delivering the baby. She didn't have any medications at all! Everyone thought for sure she would want the epidural, but she didn't. Jack-Jack weighed in at 4lbs. and 13ozs. he was 17.5 inches long. Yea he's a tiny little sweetie. He hardly ever cries and is always smiling...or pooping...lol He has everyone wrapped around his little fingers!

Welp I am off to bed for a nap got up trying to help out and did the 4am feeding so they could get some rest. They are both BEAT! But, they are Both going to be GREAT parents!!! Ciao Me

P.S. If you would like to see him and send congrats to the baby or parents just go to this page it should take you straight to his pictures.   growingfamily.com - WebNursery

Newest Member of the Family.....

  • Music: Watching the CMA Awards

I would like to introduce the newest member of the family. Miss Athena Noel Epperson-Bentley. Jack got Jenna a Yorkie Puppy for Christmas and they brought her home on the 1st of the month. Nikki is a little jealous of her little sister but so far they are getting along. Jennafer treats Athena like a little baby she even went out and got her a Christmas shirt for her to wear.  I would scan some pictures and put them on her but unforentally the cats we had broke the scanner. I was wanting to scan the picture of the ultrasound, but unforentally I can't do that either.

Jennafer goes monday to see her new doctor. She had to wait until her insurance crad came in the mail before she could get her appointment. She is finally feeling the baby kick all the time. It just won't kick whenever I want to feel it...lil turd...LOL It seems to know when it's my hand on her belly. Her stomach isn't very big at all. Actually I know she's gunna get pissed but she don't look pregnant just fat...lol

Welp, I just wanted to introduce everyone to Athena. So, I guess I'll TTYL Ciao All Staci

I'm Still Around....

  • Mood: Sleepy
  • Music: Silence

I'm still here. I've just been blogging on my diet journal...although it's been awhile since I was on there. I've got a lot going on in my life here lately. In case anyone doesn't know Imma be a Grandma next year. Yep my daughter found the right guy he treats her like a princess. They are crazy about each other. They met earlier this year in Lexington, and asked her two weeks later to marry him. He's a really nice guy and quiet which is pretty good because she talks alot...lol

I spent some time down in Tennessee back in August. My best friends' oldest son was involved in a terrible car wreck. It was really scary for a while they weren't sure if he would pull through or not. But thankfully he did, and has made a big recovery. One of the worst things that happened after the wreck is he had a stroke which left him unable to use his left leg or hand. But with therapy he is now using them both again. They didn't think he would use them this soon but he is.

Another thing thats happened is Steven has come back to Louisville. He was going to get married, but things soured for him. I'm just glad he's not talking about ending his life anymore. I told him that the right girl is out there and he'll find her someday. After all he's not a bad guy anymore. The first thing he did was apologized for everything he ever did to hurt Jennafer. He said he can't believe he made her feel the way he did when Beth broke up with him. He understands why I told him that he n Jennafer should stay friend and never date again. As friends they are fine, but as boyfriend/ girlfriend they suck! They were always fighting and argueing, and Jennafer was always getting hurt because of the way he treated her. He met Jack and said Jennafer is lucky to have found someone who treats her the way she should have been treated.

Let's see what else is going on here....Not a lot actually. Just getting some Christmas shopping done. Oh I heard from Jeanette, we haven't talked since our falling out earlier this year. She sent me a birthday card on the comp. That was nice of her and I thanked her, but the bridge is burnt and I don't see any hope for repair. I wish her all the luck in her life and future, but what she said about me and my daughter....I'll just leave it at that. Oh another thing that's happened I got rid of the 2 kittens that tore down my tree last year. I took them to the animal shelter and it was going to cost 25.00 per animal to put them up for adoption, so I took them to the pound and the lady there told me they were going to put them to sleep as soon as I signed the paper because they had 119 cats up for adoption already. So, I said no and left with the cats. Then Jack took them to the animal shelter down in Lexington and put them up for adoption. He said when he was leaving they was feeding them and getting ready to schedual them to have them fixed. I was just glad they weren't being put to sleep. Jennafer lost it when that woman told us she was going to be putting them to sleep. It kind of stunned me as well. I still have Bryan he turned 10 this year. For the first few days we kept hearing a cat meow...but, Bryan doesn't meow. At least he didn't used to. It seemed he was looking for the other 2 cats because we had put food down and they didn't come running. Then he has Never slept by himself before either. He has always had someone to sleep with. When we first got him it was him and Tracey, plus we had Harley and Whiskey, (our dog). Then after that he had Elizabeth and her kittens, and Whiskey. Then he had Whiskey and Dusty. Then it was Dusty, Callie and her kittens. Then it was Dusty and Felix. Then Dusty, and the last 2 cats we had Raven and Sango. Because Whiskey past away in 2003, and Dusty past away last year. He has Never had to sleep by himself in the 10 years he's been alive until now because he won't sleep in my room anymore because of Bridgette and Dakota, (my 2 little dogs). Hopefully I can get him to come in there and start sleeping with me again. I unno though....Last time he was around Brudgette he papped her in the head....good thing he doesn't have any claws...lol

Welp, I just thought I would update and let everyone know I'm still around. Just keep checking back in you'll never know when I'll pop on to write somemore. Probably when Jennafer gets some good ultrasound pictures. Her last ones looks like she's having a Blob...lol But, at least it looked like it had a turtle...lol   I'll TTYL Ciao All Staci
